Here’s a look at the tools I use in my EFL kindergarten classroom. The use of most of the resources will be fairly self-explanatory.

Here are a few notes:

  • I use the balloon for a quick game of balloon volleyball if we have some spare time.
  • The three sided pencil I use with very young children.
  • The duster is magnetic and grips to the whiteboard.
  • Many of the supplies I keep in the box are there in case there are none in the classroom, or I’ve forgotten to bring something with me.
  • I keep the blu tac in a small airtight container so that it doesn’t harden or pick up debris from the classroom.
  • I bought my own crayons so that I’m not using the same one the kids have… which have been everywhere! Also, it means I have a complete set to use when I need to.
  • I take pride in my work, so I tried to buy high quality tools that I will enjoy using. In particular, I’ve looked for resources that are smaller in size and have some kind of protective case to ensure their longevity.
