I’m currently in the process of trying to learn as much as I can about cooperative learning in the EFL Kindergarten (preschool) classroom as possible… and I want your help!

If you’ve taught EFL English, you’d realise that the majority of games played in the classroom are competitive in nature. While there are lots of pair work activities, relatively few are actually truly co-operative.

From my conversations with others working in various parts of the globe, my understanding is that while there are some cooperative type activities at EFL Young Learner (kids) levels, and also for teens, that it is relatively rare in EFL Kindergarten or preschool.

I’d like to help change that.

I think EFL Kindergarten is one of the most exciting spaces to work in. There’s so much possibility for developing in children a healthy foundation of a lifelong love of learning, and relational experiences, skills, and awareness that they can carry with them right throughout their education. It’s a privilege to work in this field.
