One of the recent challenges I’ve had is viewing on my Mac the Microsoft Publisher files that many of my colleagues create. There actually aren’t many tools to complete that workflow. One, is that you can convert the Publisher files to a PDF document, and view them on the Mac. If you want to edit them, a clever little hack is to use Libre Office for Mac.
That said, in the process of exploring this workflow, I discovered a nice little online utility for converting almost any file type into almost any other file type. Its called Zamzar, and it has been around forever. Its free for limited use. If you have heavier conversion needs you can either sign up, or pay for access to use the advanced features.
