Ninja. The game is simple. Get the children to stand in the centre of the room. Instead of doing a ‘listen’ and ‘point’ to the vocabulary item that the teacher (or student as teacher) says, children jump into a ninja pose (pointing) at the vocabulary item on the wall. (You can have the students say the word as they do the pose.) Enjoy this game to the fullest, and ham it up by doing karate chops and movements as you jump into pose. The kids will love it. Ninja is a creative way of transforming a relatively boring and passive game (Listen and Point), into something that is active, whole body, and fun.
