One caveat, use them very sparingly. Tracing endless lines of words or numbers won’t be fun for most young students.
There are many ways to teach and practice writing and pre-writing skills. Its best to use a blended approach, one that’s weighted towards effective methods that the students will also enjoy.
Update: While the website in this article is very popular with teachers, I now create my own worksheets using a font like Alphastrokes or another custom font, so that I can get the worksheets exactly as I would like them.
