Here’s something that might be of interest if you want to upgrade your teaching skills. The British Council offer a suite of professional development units on their website. Topics cover the gamut of English language teaching, everything from puppets to pronunciation.
While the focus of the courses seems to be more on Young Learners (primary) than Very Young Learners, you may find some resources of value. Each course should take about 3 hours to complete, and costs around 12 pounds. There are a few free units on their website that you can sample to see if the courses meet your needs.
Personally, I prefer the facilitated units where you are part of a group because there is a lot of value that comes from the other participants and conversations that arise. However, everyone has different preferences.
You can find their full catalogue of British Council professional development courses here.
UPDATE: The British Council stopped selling those courses, instead deciding to focus on producing free courses that they would regularly hold on the Futurelearn platform. You can find those courses here. I’ve studied several of these courses and have found them to be exceptional.
