Here’s a hidden gem that I happened across one day, whilst looking for break time videos. Cartoonito created a 39-episode series called ‘Sounds Like Fun’ based on the Jolly Phonics approach to phonics used for assisting children to learn to read and write. Each episode is approximately five minutes long, and covers each letter sound in its own video. I bought the DVD as something educational (and an alternative to Alphablocks) to play during break times.
