One of the more interesting ways of capturing the attention of my very young learners has been to use drone footage from YouTube when presenting a new topic or theme.
Simply search on YouTube for ‘drone’ and the key words of the topic of interest. For example, I’ve used the video above in the young learner classes I’ve taught in Ho Chi Minh City. Children get excited by the drone shots, and being able to pick out the landmarks they’re familiar with.
